Sports sponsorships are a popular way for companies to expand their exposure. This tactic has long been used by FX and CFD brokers, like RoboMarkets. The strategy is also increasingly being used by cryptocurrency firms.
In fact, the CySEC-regulated broker has a suite of sports partnerships. As Finance Magnates reported, the company signed an official partnership agreement with the Lithuanian Basketball Club Žalgiris. Per this agreement, the broker will be an official sponsor of the basketball team in the Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL) during the 2018/2019 season which will commence in September this year.

The deal was confirmed on Saturday ahead of Fulham’s opening match of the new campaign, a 2-0 home defeat against Crystal Palace. As part of the agreement, Fulham worked with ICM to create a fan-led video, which was posted on the club’s Instagram page ahead of Saturday’s match. ICM first partnered with Fulham last November.

Shoaib Abedi, founder of ICM.com, said: “We recently announced our global rebrand to ICM.com and are excited to be renewing our sponsorship with Fulham FC to present our new brand identity and new logo on the team’s shirts, resulting in global visibility.
